debo - great choices. i've had it pretty easy on everyone's block choices and now i have a challenge and a chance to learn something new! i do like challenges, but i also have to admit feeling intimidated by paper piecing.

now admitting that - what does this "less than knowledgable" paper-piecing newbie (see how well i avoided saying "ignorant dummy"? Big Grin) need to know about the method? i have absolutely no clue what to do with that pattern for the color wheel!

and i've wanted to do a grandmother's fan block too. got lace from my mother's sewing stash that i will use on it too!! definitely a "my" side of the bed block!! Wink

betty, i saw your question in the july thread. as you know, i'm doing the pastel fabrics too. but i had bought a "robin's egg blue" solid for the sashings, etc., so i am going to use that for the background of this colorwheel goose block. am i right in assuming that i need to go with some solid colors for the geeses? don't think my other fabrics will do, but the blue could be the continuity factor with this block. what you think?

Cindy, I would say yes but I want to play with my 1930's fabrics. My background choice is white and I don't have any solid 1930's fabric right now! I'll have to ponder what I'll do!

Okay, this is for all that have photo's in Album #03 for BPS-II! Would you please email a copy of the photo you have in that Album if you still have it. I am going to delete the Album and recreate it! It will not open for me! I can get into edit and everything is there and it will add, delete and edit but then it will not load. I have emailed Kim concerning this and have not heard from her so I'm going to do what I can to resolve this issue!

Thanks, if you do not have the block I can go with the ones I am saving from the site but they are rather small! So just let me know! I will be workin on it this week! Thanks

Betty

Attention to all! I have deleted the old Album #03 and recreated it! Take and look, see if it works right! Let me know! Now in copying some of the photos they are small. If you have the original photo send to me and I'll replace the one that is there now!

Both patterns are neat, Deb. Great choices!

Also, I am using 30s fabrics for my blocks, and I am going to do the Geese in the 30s prints, with the off-white background fabric I've used in all the other blocks. No solid colors in this quilt top. LOL

The Grandmother's Fan, too will look wonderful in the 30s prints.
