linda, i saw debo's in the album and i think i am changing my plans too and keep my regular "theme". i guess the black on the pattern and bright solds of the geeses just looked so GOOD - may have to try one like that just "because" - can't you imagine that hanging on my office wall with tassels to match each goose? Wink rather interesting prospects here . . .

I love these patterns they are fun to make. Looks like you and Betty are using 30s fabrics can't wait to see what you both come up with.

Ladies these blocks are easy to make one you get the hang of PP if you have never done it before.

Would I be allowed to make one of the variations (colour wise) that were shown (and Deb, you made one, I think) of the Paper Pieced geese block? I like both, but with my fabrics, would prefer not to do the colour wheel at this time.

Yes, I taught it to my grands - don't know where I first heard it, but it was NOT in my childhood! Love it! Maya sang it to her Day care teacher, who remembered it from her childhood in Ireland!

Hey, whatever makes you gals happy is okay with me! Variations are okay! It will introduce different versions of the same block to our new quilters and may even teach the "ole quilters" some new things!

Deb, it's just that I'm not using blues in this series. The closest I come is purple - hope the BOSS says YES!! SmileSmile
