oooo nice blocks linda!!! just love that fan!
deb, i ALMOST have my fan completed. just have to applique the fan down. i also found some eyelet from my mother's things that looks just perfect with the fan - rather bittersweet . . . anwway, i should finish and get a pic posted sometime over the weekend. i DO intend to do the colorwheel goose - but i got to admit i am procrastinating over the paper piecing! reckon i just better tighten my belt another notch and dig right in, huh?  love & hugs, beechnut (cindy) a/k/a Miss Tassels "She shops around for the best yarns and cottons, and enjoys knitting and sewing." I think my blocks turned out well. Thanks for the compliments everyone. I love the 30s fabrics. I think I've already picked out my block patterns - that is unless someone else chooses them between now and August 08. LOL! Linda O Texas |

Linda and Debo, I have my August block half made, will make the other half and post today perhaps a photo. I decided to do a 2 color one, I have to be different! lol Well, the reason is I didn't have the colors I needed for the 1930's color wheel so decided not to even try. Wanted to start so I just chose a fabric and dove in! So far so good, only messed up once! lol

Cindy Your colors are wondeful and it is just smashing against the white background. I really do like what you have done with the eyelet trim it is now both of yours in your fan this way. My first g'fan has the beige eyelet but I couldn't find any when I went searching for the white trim for my new block. Happy Quilting!
