I won't be able to start or finish mine this week - our daughter has to go to Vancouver this week for a three day conference for work - a computer system one - she and her co-workers have been giving it a trial run, and need to update/teach other regions on it. She got volunteered by her boss. 2 flying days in there, though Vancouver is only 1 1/2 hours by air from Edmonton! Which means Bill and I have the grands all week! No sewing with a 5 and 6 year old around!! Besides which, they sleep in my sewing room. Good enough reason??

I have seven out of eight blocks finished. When I get the last one done. Plan to take pictures and hopefully get them posted.
Connie, I have been wanting to make the Woven Ribbons. Now that I see how easy it is, I went out and bought fabric to make a quilt for me and my husband. But first I need to finish the log cabin and one of the swaps. Trina |

Thank you. That kind of material is right up my alley. I found it a local quilt shop and thats all they had. So i had to get all 6 yards. A few months ago I went and got the other material that went right along with the wooden fabric. They all go so well together. Cant wait for next month i know i know its early but i really want to see how this quilt turns out. Julia Quilting is my passion..... Ladies, I've been to the Albums and those blocks are looking great! Julia, I do like your fabrics, everyone needs to look in Album #02.
When you're finished go to Aublum #01 and look at Debo's blocks. Deb, you've been a very busy girl! Those are beautiful, those fabrics work great together! They are striking! Michelle, you are right the fabrics are all marvelous. I decided a long time ago that all of us have great taste when it comes to fabrics! lol And we all want what each other has! lol

ok - call me a glutton for punishment . . .
i was showing my BPS II blocks to my friend from atlanta yesterday. she reminded me that she had crocheted an afghan for me several years ago and then commented "i sure do like the colors you picked for these blocks - when are you going to make mine? it sure would be nice to have a matching quilt like yours" so you KNOW what my answer was!! geez, now i'll have to go shopping for more fabrics, aw man . . . well, i shall just have to suffer for the sake of friendship  love & hugs, beechnut (cindy) a/k/a Miss Tassels "She shops around for the best yarns and cottons, and enjoys knitting and sewing."
