Just wanted to let all of you know that I have been unable to get in touch with the August person. The August 1st posting may be late. I'll deal with it when I return. I know that Wendy will be ready for Sept as she has responded to my email. I urge everyone to check the list, we should be ready when it's our month. Right now I'm upset that I'm not getting a response and we do not have a lot that are making these blocks and getting photos posted. That is what the PM was to be about... but I don't have the time to address it today as I'm getting ready for my trip. Hang in there ladies and we'll re-evaluate when I return. I love doing this blocks each month but we must have more active participation. Hugs, Betty

Pam, hon, we were all beginners at some time! This has been good for many beginners and more advanced at the same time. You only get better the more you do, and even if one extra block a month seems too much, look on the bright side - ever seen so many quilts you just HAVE to make but know you won't ever have time for? By making just one block, and some teach us new techniques, you can at least make one of each different block. Most of the blocks don't take very long to make - I've often taken a week to make one block (not much time to sew when one is building a house! ), by taking a couple of minutes here and there to sew. Cutting takes more time, I think, than sewing. Anyway, it is entirely up to you - we'd love to have you!! And don't worry about having to catch up, just jump in with the current one. Have a wonderful day, from someone in rainy central Alberta, where it's getting frustrating for hubby not to be able to finish any outside work - 3 days of sun, then rain, then sun - just as the ground dries up somewhat, it's wet again! Oh, well!! That's life! GErda
A day hemmed in prayer seldom unravels. Keep looking UP! When it seems there is no way out, there is always a way up!
