BLOCK PARTY RULES: (to reinterate)

1. THIS IS NOT A SWAP! You do not send blocks to others...you keep them for yourself!

2. Each person that signs up must choose a block and an alternate for all of us to make.

The patterns must come from a free web site that is readily available to all of us. You do not have to make both blocks each month, just one! You can make both if you like but that is up to you!

3. The blocks must be 12 inch blocks, finished; 12.5 inches unfinished.

4. The blocks must be of simple to intermediate level. (Not all of us have skills to do the advanced level!)

5. You may purchase fabric or use scrap from your stash; it's up to you!

6. No two blocks alike. No repeat Blocks! You must choose a block that has not been previously chosen in the original BPS.

7. Your selected choice is DUE on the 1st of the month and must be posted no later than the 2nd day of the month. That gives every one month to make this block. Photo's of the chosen block will be posted or if you chose to make the Alternate Block post it! But only post one photo! must be posted of your completed block. **See below**

8. I must be notified by the 20th of the month prior to your assigned month with your choices and location of the patterns. You will post the photo of your main block only.

9. In the event someone does not post their block choice in the selected time frame, as hostess of the block, I will choose a block. **See below**

10. The person that signed up first will pick the first block. You are listed in the order in which you have joined. Please CONFIRM that you are joining.

11. You may make any size quilt you wish with the 12-inch blocks. At the end of the list, we can start ovwer with the first person choosing another block and so on, if the interest is still there.

12. This is an open joining, with no closing deadlines, other than the posting of block choices. If someone new joins Block Central, this gives them a change of joining in and we want to be welcoming!

13. EVERYONE must post their own block choices.. OR..if you do not wish to do so, please send them to me and I will post them for you. I would appreciate you also sending me the block choice, even if you post it!

As before, we all know that Life happens. Unforseen things happens. If you have signed up and it it your turn to choose a block and cannot for reasons known to you, please let me know. I will move your name to the bottom of the list. Also ** I FORGOT" is NOT an excuse! If you do not post your block choice by the 2nd day of the following month, then you are banned!****

As we found out last year, this is a lot of fun! No one can see your mistakes, most of the time at least! lol If you need help, ask and someone will help you! This is a chance to grow even more in friendship and in quilting. There will be blocks that you have never made before so it will stretch all of us.

Please note that since this is an open-end swap I will from time to time purge photos and postings so that we may continue. I will check and purge from time to time. Photos will be 1 year so I would suggest that you keep a record of your photos for yourself.

I will also check from time to time on activity of those that signed up. If you are no longer doing the blocks I need to know.
