I did the 2007 Blk Party & just loved it. I haven't finished it yet because other projects came up. I got the templates to go with the group. It made piecing a breeze. Rebecca P |

Marie, this looks like it would be fun! I don't think just by looking at it that you would have to buy the templates, it says that paper templates are included w/ the pattern. Good luck!

I did the summer 2008 one because I fell in love with the fabrics. You don't have to buy the templates, but it makes it MUCH easier to cut accurately. The total of the blocks added up to $84 without any extra for sashing or borders or anything like that. But the instructions are really good, even giving cutting directions so that all the outside edges are on the straight of grain.
