We should really consider making a "BLANK" signature block quilt for those who we make quilts for that are NEEDing long term care doctors and nurses or that type situation.

I am having a blast carrying my quilt that you all made for me ~ to my doctors and nurses for them to sign for me ~ they have just been so thrilled to think that I would ask them to sign it for me. Sometimes they are in the background and not always giving the proper thank yous and appreciations when they are our care givers that they deserve and to have them sign our quilt and seeing them light up like they do it seems to be such an awesome feeling for them to sign it as it has been for me to recieve it so it is still giving and giving since you all made it for me.

Do you remember in the beginning I was a bit saddened to not have you all sign it but now it has a DOUBLE IMPACT~I DO have all of your names and places you live in the label so you are all there and now the care givers are included in the memory~~~I am on cloud nine!!! I still need a few more signatures to have it complete and it is just taken that first tiny thought of sadness and turned it into just pure simple JOY!!! I am having so much fun with my quilt, you can't begin to know what a joy it is having you all make it and now have all the doctors and nurses sign it for me. I will treasure it always so hope that you know how much I love all of you and hope that I can return some of the love back to all of you someday ~but am not wishing bad health on anyone, hope you know what I mean. Block Centeral has been a huge blessing to me over all these years and I hope that you know you are loved and appreciated so very much.

Maybe it doesn't sound like much of an idea but this is now over a milliaon dollar quilt to me!!!

Lots of Love and hugs,
Deb

Deb, it means alot to know that a quilt can lift a persons spirits, and you keep sharing your feelings everything you have someone else sign it.
I am sure they feel as special being asked to sign it as I did when you asked for a signed block.
It is good that the little things in life can still mean so much to a person. Keep your chin up, and keep sharing those good feelings, they will all come back around your way again, maybe just in another form.
Happy Friday, Marilynn
