I threw out a couple of ideas, and am defering to your expertise in deciding which one is more feasible. I am definitely the novice here, having never led a swap before; and I am so thrilled to be learning from a master. Spent part of the day going through the scrap box and making up a couple of samples so actually sounded like I knew what I was talking about! I do not know either ... but I am trying to do some sleuthing here.  I did see a new member name a few minutes ago ... bairdmtn ... who has not posted yet. When I clicked on her public profile it said she had registered on June 10th. So maybe this is our quilter! Yesterday morning the number was at 999. I was offline for awhile in the afternoon and when I came back the number had changed to 1000 ... this quilter just may be our 1000th member. This morning when I signed on the count was at 1001. Yay for more new members!!!  I sent bairdmtn a PM to ask if she registered in the afternoon yesterday ... I hope I did not scare her away ...
