I'm so excited. I was at a quilt show this weekend and found these blocks printed on fabric. I may be able to do them with a more pliable background. wish me luck.

Finally pulled my top out and quilted it yesterday and today. I used a wool batting and 100 wt. silk thread with a 60/8 needle. I love the way the wool batt washes up..it really stays soft and pliable even with extensive quilting.

Mary - that´s great!!!! You are so quick - and you stick to the quilting til it´s finished - I should burn that into my head!!!!!
That is one of the things on my immediate "to do" list as I have started quilting it, but it takes me much longer because I do it by hand ( no quilting machine...  ) But I always do simple designs to help speed it along...Will have to get it out and look at it again, at least... Mary wonderful !!!!!! you have done an exellent job on your NYB. Your quilting is wonderful!
