Here's a link that might help. It's not for Jack's chain itself, but on sewing triangles to Hex's.

Hoping to get started on this Challenge this weekend. Only have 4 more blocks to do for the Charity Quilts on Q & N, then I'll need another project to work on. I have a lot of 9 patch blocks from a BC swap a couple years ago - they are bigger then the pattern calls for, but if I can draft a hex and a triangle to go with them, this would be a great way to use those 9-patches.

That's what I'm doing too Nola. I made 9patches with some of the strips we all exchanged. Making the triangle/hex's larger was pretty easy.

Been pretty quiet on this thread. Has anyone given it a shot yet? I'll say it's quite challenging for a beginner (I consider myself a beginner). Those points are still giving me some grief but it's coming along not too bad. I have another project now that I need to get cranked up on so it'll be awhile probably before I can get back to "Jack". Here's my progress so far:

I'm anxious to see someone else's!

Oh Lana, you are doing great!!

I haven't been able to buy more material for my hex's. So, tomorrow I think I am going to see if I have enough of a different color and hope that it still comes out ok.

Mine is scrappy, so it will look quite a bit different than Lana's (as I don't have the white). But I'm hoping it will still look good.

Wow, Lana, that looks great! I've dropped the ball for a bit. Like Dorian I ran out of fabric for the Hex's. I'm going to finish a couple of projects and then start again.

cheers,
KimUK
