Simply Quilts is no longer being shown on HGTV. Starting today, March 26, there are video clips being shown on the HGTV website. Here is the link. I was on briefly but haven't totally figured out to navigate it. Don't know it there will be a library where you access previous episodes. Haven't figured out how to stop the commercials either. Just thought I would share with anyone who feels like exploring.

By the way, just click on the next topic when one is done, and you'll skip the commercials.

I was trying to figure that out too. My DVR is set to record only new episodes. I just thought they had only been showing old ones. Thanks for the tip!

Okay, you got me! How does your DVR know whether it is a new episode or not? Can you tell I don't do any of the recording in my house?

The DVR knows because on the program information screen or the guide the original air date is posted!

I dont know how my DVR knows...when I tell it to record a show, it give me several options..ONE TIME ONLY, EVERY EPISODE, NEW EPISODES...It's really cool. I dont know what we ever did without it.

Another question from the technologically challenged. I have forgotten to check out the Simply Quilts site for a couple of weeks. I cannot find any way to go back and view what I have missed. Are only the current four clips available for this week? Is there an archive that I am overlooking or am I just out of luck? Can somebody who understands this stuff please help me out. Thanks.

Meg see if this might work for you, if you go to othe simply quilts page and the video begin to play then on the left side it says search videos type in that space simply quilts and then it will display a list that shows from 1-100 might be more I forget but anyways there is a next button that you can just keep going through, now I am not sure what weeks they are as I don't watch the videos anymore since I have all the ones that were shown back in the day on tape, so try these and you might run across a better way this could be a jump start, hope this helps if not then we can try something else and see!!!!

I only quilt on Day's that End in " Y "!
