Viking has finally started loading some of my embroidery designs onto their web shop. If you'd like to take a look you can get there through my website by going here:
It's a slow process getting the designs uploaded but I've had so many requests that I wanted to let everyone here know that they're online also. They just got some of the holiday designs up (scroll through the pages at the bottom) and my "Crazy Creatures" designs for kids are there also. Hopefully they will get all of my cats and other designs up soon.
It's definitely been busy here. I hope everyone is doing well. Let me know what you think of the embroideries. I have a lot of exciting news from Quilt Market that I can't wait to share with you all
I love your designs, especially the reindeer! What about a Chrismas kitty or two or three LOL!
So, do you ever offer any freebies? LOL! Or one disc with many designs on it?
I am getting (got it for myself) a Magic Box Plus Elite so I can download designs and digitize them. WOO HOO! Now I need to wait for Christmas to use it - at least I HOPE to have time away from quilting projects by then. I need to make 6 children's quilts for gifts and several OTHER things for Christmas. LOL!
Great job, Patrick!

I'd love to accomodate you on the Christmas kitties but I don't have any in the collections now and I'm not sure if/when I'll be doing anything new for Viking. I may have to start having my designs digitized myself so I can offer more in a timely manner.
As far as "freebies", I don't sell the designs myself. They're from Viking so I can't offer them. Once in awhile I offer a free pattern on my website though
You sound as busy as I am these days. Good luck on all of the quilting you have to get done! If it wasn't enjoyable, we wouldn't do it, right?
And, Jami, Quilt Market went really well for me even though I didn't exhibit this time. I walked the market to see the trends and spent time meeting with friends in the industry that I haven't seen for a long time.
I made some great contacts and, though I can't give a lot of details, you'll be seeing more of my designs out there in books and fabrics especially. I'm also very excited about some projects I'm going to work on with the folks at EQ. They have such great products that I'm glad to have the chance to work with them.
I'm also working on the possibility of some more TV appearances which are always fun. I will definitely keep the forum posted. I always come to you all first with anything new. I love getting your feedback!!
I have to get some paining done for some new fabrics...Christmas fabrics for 2008 AND 2009....can you believe it?
I'd appreciate it if you pass the word about my new pattern and also that "A Patrick Lose Christmas" from C&T Publishing is in the finishing stages for Spring/Summer of next year.
I wish all these embroidery patterns for machines, were also available for those of us who don't have/want a machine! I love hand embroidery! Great work, Patrick! Keep it up! Seems like fabrics are like books, working a couple years in advance!

WtG!!! Patrick Your embroidery is gorgeous and funny too.
Your table runner with the reindeer is gorgeous as are all of your patterns!!! Can't wait to see more of your stunning work for 08 & 09!!!
Happy Quilting! Bama Deb ~ Sweet Home AL I have always been interested in people who make me laugh!!! You can never have a dull moment with these people. And if you happen to have "one of those moments" then it's okay, they just laugh with you.
I'm really disappointed with the way my embroidery designs look on the online webshop at www.myembroideries.com so I've scanned some of the actual stitch-outs so you can see that the quality is much better than what it looks like on that site. They're just bad representations of really nice embroideries. So, if you want to see real samples, please look here:
I agree, Gerda, hand work is always the finest to me, also. But time is so scarce sometimes so I'm glad there are options now. I wish the option was more time!
Glad you like the creatures, Mary...they're from my silly side.
Linda and Debo...one of the actual scans I've added to the page is the reindeer since you said you like him
And, Milica, thanks for your nice words too. You know I will let you all know when the book hits the market. I'm anxious for it even though I just got the green light for my next book for C&T Publishing.
Thanks for the feedback everyone and I hope you're all having a great weekend. I have to get back to my paintings for next year's Christmas fabrics I don't mind working on the weekend when it's fun stuff!
