Thanks, Doreen!!! 'Course I still don't know how YOU found it! Going to bookmark it now, and will check it out later - must get my sewing room organized, nearly there! Later!! Marian Gerda Love isn't what you say, it's what you do.

It's one of the ads down bottom of the pattern search page. I'm going to try this at home. Take a photo of one of my dogs and see what happens. I would love to make wallhangings of my dogs. Although one is pure black from head to tail - don't think there is enough contrast for it to work. We shall see...

Doreen, if you look really closely, you may find dark gray in spots from shadowing etc. If you could print the picture out by enlarging greatly, you would get pixels - that would show shading. I've seen it done, just not done it myself. I'm not sure if you need special software - I don't think so. I'll do some checking for ya! Oh, and thanks for the location info!! Doreen, here is a link to Don Locke's page - he's the retired dentist from Texas (Waxahatchie) who created a huge quilt of the Last Supper from a photo of the painting. http://www.thesupper.net/made.htmHope this helps. Gerda Love isn't what you say, it's what you do.

It took a bit of thinking, because I know I have seen a lady on one of the quilt shows (she's black, if memory serves, but can't remember her name or the show's!!!) but did remember the word "mosaic" was used. http://www.eskimo.com/~jlk/quilts.htmhttp://www.eskimo.com/~jlk/121.htmOoh, it's Tammie Bowser!! Here's her website: http://www.mosaicquilt.com/I just remembered (I think!!!) - she has been on Kaye Wood's show a couple of times. Gerda
