Someone help! Can you send a PM from within the blog site or does one have to do it here?

You can send messages within the blog site. Go to either the blog list or an individuals profile. You should see the option to Send Message in the upper right corner. Messages will need to be retrieve through your blog. They do not appear here or in your e-mail.

Now I have a question. What is the easiest way to access the blog list? The only way I can retrieve it is to go to someone's profile. There must be something I am missing.

This is what I have done maybe someone has a better idea.

Right here where my message is posted you can see my blog from my signature line...once I opened a page that my message was on here in this BC forum I dragged my blog name over to my desk top. There might be a better way but this is working for me.

You lost me. Sorry- told you I am not very computer savvy. Also noticed that when I open other people's blogs, there is a sidebar with various optins, my blog doesn't have that. What did I do wrong?

First that sidebar has to do with the type of template you chose for your web-blog. Your personal design.

Down at the bottom of your post on BC you have your name...Meg
your 2nd line: Proud Coastie Mom
Next 2 line you have your blogs

OK NOW:
go over to your new blog name hilight that name and then drag it to your desktop...this should give you a Icon that will let you open your new blog...you can even name that Icon.

If this doesn't help we will try something different.

Maybe the problem is understanding what you are wanting to do LOL

The blog list is on the home page and you can do the same thing with the blog page and drag it over to your desktop.

The home page is a bit tricky for me to get back to also.

To make things easier, I've put up some navigational links at the top of your control panel. Did this just a few minutes ago, so if you haven't seen it, that is why.

There are links to the SQ front page, a listing of all blogs, a listing of blogs by category, and a contact link if you are drowning and need my help.

I've also placed a light green bar at the top of each and every blog that has navigation links to help you find the front page, the blog list (browse), etc. Hopefully that should get you where you need to go.

To see who's online, you'll need to be logged in and looking at your control panel here:

You can click on their name to view their profile and from their profile you can PM them, or view their blog.
