I have always been interested in people who make me laugh!!! You can never have a dull moment with these people. And if you happen to have "one of those moments" then it's okay, they just laugh with you.

I think I might like one or 2 blocks being finished, last winter has been such a blur and I need to pick up all those BOMs that I like being finished.

It just seems like all I have is setbacks anymore I do good to make a block or 2 a week where last year I could make 2 aday without blinking. My concerntration seems to be lacking.

Deb, it might be residual effects of your chemo, and also menopause affects memory - ask me how I know!!Big Grin I'm not sure about concentration - I get distracted fairly easily. DH and I (or someone else and I) will be talking about something, a few minutes later I don't remember what we talked about, or a detail, etc. Most aggravating!! I try to laugh it off.

Of course, I don't know if you are going through that. However, keep on plugging, there will be good days and bad days, just take them one at a time, hon! do what you can, when you can. That's all anyone can do. Besides, look at what you accomplished this week!! That gorgeous quilt - wow!!!

As DH says, if it doesn't get done today, there's always tomorrow, and if tomorrow doesn't come, then it doesn't matter.

And don't forget, things change for everyone, and circumstances change - change can be good, but it can put the kibosh on our plans, can't it??Big Grin I rarely make plans anymore - something always seems to get in the way, and I'm trying real hard not to get down about it - used to be I'd start crying if something I planned (like going shopping or baking) couldn't happen. Oh, well, I've digressed enough for tonight! Chin up, hon! It'll get better. Hugs!!

Memory, what is that? I can't seem to hold a thought for 5 seconds! I know it is due to some medicaton I've been taking for years but it's aggravating. Not only to me but my hubby too! We can get in the car to go several places and he has to tell me one at a time because I will forget where we are going next! Sometimes I forget where I'm going while we are enroute trying to get there.

Attention span, I have none. My dgd brought several DVD Movies for me to watch. I bet I started one of those 15 times and my ADD would kick in and the movie was over and I didn't have a clue what it was about! One day I finally had to just sit and watch movies before she killed! We've always loved watching movies and she was so sweet to gather them up for me!

So I think we all have those memory problems. Please tell me we do anyway! lol

OOOHH Yeh, the ol' memory thang!!! The only thing around here that has memory is my computer!! Roll Eyes AND, it's not 'just us older folks'..my DD is 39 and she's always starting to say something and whoosh, the thought is gone!! Beside the meds that some take, I really think a lot of it is the times we live in...Can't you remember 'the good ol' days' when things weren't so much in a hurry, and complicated? I kno I can. I sometimes really wish for the 'good ol' days' when life was simplier...of course at THAT time we didn't think it was.. Just hang in there gals, we're in this together.. Wink Just take one thing and one day at a time.. I love Gerda's DH's saying, "if it doesn't get done today, there's always tomorrow, and if tomorrow doesn't come, then it doesn't matter." How true, how true-- that is awesome..

Just my 2 cents this morning..Have a good weekend girls.

Funny how our 'senior moments' don't affect our memory of the 'good old days' Smile

Hmmmm! Not sure either if it's reside from chemo & I don't have ovaries or a period now so could me menopause I suppose. I wonder also what this anti-hormone pill does to me that I have to take for the next 5 years to keep me cancer free. I do get distracted very easily!!! I don't forget conversations, that sounds like the pits, big hugs Gerda.

One thing that doesn't help is being alone all day and just being here by myself. It can be depressing but at times a blessing to have time to sew anyway!!!

Wouldn't it be nice to pick and chose which things we could keep and which we could forget or just leave off.
