Hey, look what I just found (OK, OK, I'm ducking!!!! Big Grin) - it's a blog page so it CANNOT be saved. http://debiquilts.blogspot.com/

PS I found this while searching for a pieced poinsettia quilt pattern for LindaO, not that I'm blaming her, y'understand? I'm glad I found it!! SmileI think that's called serendipity.

I know, I haven't started anything new, but I did buy three FQs and a panel (Oak Leaf and Reel by Terry Clothier Thompson) yesterday - oh, I'm so bad!! I wasn't going to buy much for a while, and concentrate on finishing the grands quilts. Oh, well, at least it wasn't a quilt block/pattern! Big Grin

This idea is one that our guild did a few years ago, along with the tinner (single block) and round robin exchanges. I started a strippy quilt (which this is) for the signup, but was the only one interested. Now the red fabrics and my first row sit in a tin, waiting for the day I can finish it.

Ah, well, we can always just drool and plan Big Grin Have a good day!!!

Yes, I really like it too!! Glad you peeked, Cindy Big Grin

I just had a thought - I wonder what it would look like to use the blocks so many of us have made over the years (I know, you two are relative beginners, but you could keep this in mind) in rows, say similar colours per row, with a complementary fabric to separate the rows??? I may have to dig mine out and see - it might just work! OR when making your blocks (or go to QC for 6" + blocks) and instead of making one, make 5 or 6 each time. Hmmmm I'd better go make supper before I come up with too many more ideas. Don't you love how our brains work??? Think of 1 thing, and more ideas pop up!! Woohooooo!! Big Grin

Later, darlins!!

Gerda
