The setting block that they used as the alternate block won't be that bad to draft out to fit the block pattens that they posted. When I have a little time, I will figure it out and post it for you if you'd like. I really liked the setting they used, but like you Meg...ain't no way (good grammer here Eek) I'm paying 100 bucks for the finishing kit!!

And here's the thing, Jami. I don't know mind paying for a pattern and yardage chart, but how do they know the fabrics I pick for the blocks will look good with the fabric in their kit? I want to pick fabrics for borders and alternate blocks that I think will look good with my blocks.

LOL too funny Doreen and Nola. The problem I have with my name is that people don't usually know how to say it. I usually get CALLED Doreen. So I have to say it out for them DOOR-E-IN. LOL My dh's Grandpa could never say it right. I had a teacher in grade school who couldn't say it either, and called me Miss Kinney all thru that year. LOL

I'll have to go look at all these blocks now.

Kat,

I have been called Kathryn most of my life, too, and my name's Margaret. The curse of being the youngest has made me Kathrynjanetmargaret. And my mother, who was also the youngest, was Elizabethdorothychristinemarianeleanorohwhoeveryouare! LOL

Here is a link for the block, except it has plain squares in the corners. To make the corners a 4 patch, cut 8 - 2-1/2" squares of background fabric and color 1 fabric and make 4 - 4 patches for the corners.
