OMGOSH...such awesome photos!

That tree skirt is GORGEOUS! You fibbed..lolol It's really stunning!

I am also just thrilled to see what can be done with the HB's when a person thinks outside the box! Someone at our last class showed what she had done with the oriental blocks she won in one of our very first classes. Dang.. I should have taken a picture of it too!

ZOOOOOOOMING OUT THE DOOR TO WORK.. what BEAUUUUTIFUL work ladies!!!

Bravo!! *pats you on the back*!!

I have been making these Jacob's Ladder blocks for a swap. I really like this pattern but I found it to be a little tricky.

Darlene, thats a really cute block and one I havent tried yet. I love the dark black one.

Pat- here's a closeup of the quilt. The check circles are appliqued on. I needed something to do when I was in the car so I cut cardboard cicles the size of thead spool spool bottoms and used that as my template. Very quick and easy.

I'm on the last little bit of quilting this so I should be able to start the binding on Monday.

Cute prjects everyone!

NDeb- love the hoursglass blocks with the circles. A great compliment to the happyblocks!

Jenell - love the mittens and your tree skirt. Very Christmassy.

Felicia - I love the disappearing 9 patch too. I have a charity quilt in progress using that pattern. Doesn't it feel good to use up those leftovers?

I have some pics to post whenI get done decorating.

Darlene ... nice sharp looking blocks ... someone in this swap is going to be very happy. Smile

Deb ... thank you for posting the close-up and the how-to's. I am really starting to like these bright and happy 30's fabrics. Big Grin

Darlene those do look tricky! The black one really caught my eye too.

You guys are too kind on the tree skirt. Someday I will rip out that binding and do it right.

Pat, girlfriend, might you be falling in love with these little prints and thinking swap like I am? Wink They are very happy aren't they? I love Debs pattern but I'm still looking at doing an Oklahoma Dugout with them. I saw one at a quilt show and knew it was for me!

I'm looking for it Deb. I had it bookmarked but it's unavailable now Frown So I have emailed them to see if I can still get the pattern. I guess if you snooze, you loose, even on the internet!

The first looks like our happy blocks with an extra border, the second is totally different.

Slightly different version here

This seems to be the pattern for the second link I posted
http://www.blockcentral.com/roadtooklahoma.shtml

Haven't seen the other one (pattern that is) - OKQuiltworks had a pattern/kit, but they are sold out.

I would think it wouldn't be too difficult to figure out, though.
