I'm in the ALWAYS WASH camp...I've had to many things where the color ran. Frown
I love the old fashioned puckery look also, but I do find if I use a 100% cotton batting, I will get almost the same look. Less puckering if I use an 80/20 blend.
Works for me.

Now Tata, that's just plain mean!!! Hilarious, but mean!!! I did it accidentally when I was first married - silly thing was, my hubby didn't really care - he wore pink briefs for quite some time before they finally faded!

I'm also in the always wash camp. I wash all my fabric before I put it away in my stash. I also use 100% cotton batting and love the way my quilts look when they are finished and washed.

Unfortunately in dusty West Texas my wall hangings do have to be washed occasionally so I wash the fabric I use in them too. Maybe its just these old windows that cause everything to get so dusty. Big Grin No........... West Texas sand is fine and slippery, and comes in no matter what. Eek

I have always been interested in people who make me laugh!!! You can never have a dull moment with these people. And if you happen to have "one of those moments" then it's okay, they just laugh with you.

A cup of bleach will make them white again.

Just recently I has purchased some new green wash cloths and one got mixed in with hubbys tidy white-ies and they were all green instead of the pink mentioned here! I didn't panic I just reached for my bleach bottle, took out the green wash cloth and made a second wash laod with them! They were pretty and fresh and he never knew the difference!

Now those washcolths! are a different story! I have washed and rewashed those things over and over...maybe one day they will stop bleeding! I have never had so much trouble with bleeding before as with these darn things!

Now, now Deb...pics huh? With them on him or by themselves?? I can put a bullseye on the seat...heart's too tame. The green is a good color too for St. Paddy's Day. Love the ideas I get here on BC!
