Ok I realize this is going to sound really simple but I am going to throw my question out there just in case I am making this harder then it should be....Have you seen those fleece blankets where you just cut 2" strips all around the edge and then knot the strips? hope I explain that right. I am assuming I just cut a even amt of strips all the way around...has anyone made one of these?

Has anyone made a double blanket? While I was at the Quilter's picking up 2 quilts, I saw one that had been quilted. It puzzled me until I saw that it was double. One side was orange and the other side was black - then the quilting kept it all in place, and the fringe was 2-colored. It was stitched along the edge (above where the fringe was cut.) It was probably over-sized and could also have a mascot appliqued into the center. Your imagination could make this a one-of-a-kind blanket, perfect for football games. Have fun!!!

This is interesting. Does anyone have a picture of a finished one they can post?

I am trying to post a pic..if I am understanding correctly, you mean two pieces of fleece cut to the same size, and tied together with the fringe?? Iam sure you could also quilt on these, particularly if it is fleece that is not with a pattern on it already. I am guessing you could also applique whatever you want on them. the baby ones I have made always had a printed side, so I never quilted them...

Oh, and if you stitch along the edge, and just cut fringe, of course you don't need to tie them........

(okay, I am all done now) Wink Razz
