Hi everyone

I finished my very first quilt top this past week. A very big woohoo. This top is the one I've been working on in my sampler class. I couldn't have done it without all of you since you provided advice and support when I needed it most. Here's a pic.

Thanks everyone
Lizzie

Beautiful, Lizzie - sure doesn't look like a beginner's project.

Wonderful job!

Very pretty! You have done a wonderful looking quilt top there, W2G!!! I am with the group it looks like more than a beginner quilt, you should be able to make most shapes now with all the different work in your blocks.

I especially like that upright basket pattern wuold love to have that one myself.

Happy Quilting!

Thanks so much for the kind words ladies. You don't know how much that means to me.

Nancii, not to worry, I've been hooked since I started this class in the Spring.

Deb - I hope you are right and that I'll be able to tackle lots of different patterns. My teacher chose this pattern for that very reason. She said that she hoped when we were finished we would have learned enough to take on lots of different projects. I hope she's right!

Love you all
Lizzie
