Thanks Ohiorose.....I live in south-central Oregon. We have about 5 ft of snow in our yard now. It is beautiful...makes my yard look just as pretty as the "groomed" ones next door!! I won't like it so much when it starts melting and flooding Frown

Welcome Blewbird to BC.

Your quilts are wonderful! I love the details, especially in the train quilt ... no surprise to see that it won a first place ribbon ... and the setting with the tall tree blocks between the schoolhouses.

My daughter visited south central Oregon with her drum and bugle corps last summer on their way to Pasadena for a national competition ...(alas, I could not go) ... and she fell in love with this area. Of all the places she has passed through, this is the only place where she has said she would like to move someday. She said the mountains were beautiful and she has seen some pretty beautiful mountains here in New England. I, personally, am hoping she does not move so far away, though.

Look foward to seeing more of your quilting on BC,

Smile Pat

Thank you!

I live in Klamath Falls....gateway to beautiful Crater Lake National Park. We have all kinds of winter and summer sports here. We are a "rural" area and produce potatoes, hay and cattle. It would indeed be a long way from "home" if your daughter moved here.

It would, indeed, be a long way from here ... too far for me. She stayed a little further west than Klamath Falls in the Grants Pass area in August, As recently as her holiday semester break she still said she would like to move near there. I am going to worry about that if and when the time comes ... (I am hoping never, I admit ... she is my "baby") ... <3 Pat

Sorry for getting off-topic so far.

So, Katie, hello! Confetti I do not think we have met yet on BC. How is your alphabet quilt coming? Smile Pat

I have always been interested in people who make me laugh!!! You can never have a dull moment with these people. And if you happen to have "one of those moments" then it's okay, they just laugh with you.

Ohiorose53, I am also blonde, or I was, once.
I did not mean anything nasty with that saying.
