I'm not sure if someone on this forum mentioned this pattern before or where I got it. Here is a website for a quick and easy coaster to sew probably with scrapes you already have. I love the website the pictures and instructions are very clear. This would be a great project to do with someone who is just learning to sew. I thought I would post the site if anyone needs some quick and easy gifts.

those are a blast to make! I made the round ones, for wine glases, in sets of six, for gifts. add a bottle of wine, and presto!! a quick and easy gift. for the round ones I used a CD for a pattern.

I haven't seen the round one sounds interesting. I just love anything that is quick and easy but still looks good.

These are great Gerda, anymore simple little things that are easy to make for Christmas, In particular I am looking for something for the male species thats hard to buy for, ie my son-in-law.
