I have always been interested in people who make me laugh!!! You can never have a dull moment with these people. And if you happen to have "one of those moments" then it's okay, they just laugh with you.

A special opaque paper which when you emboss on it turns white. It is used a lot in card making

Meg
It is the little thin paper that usually accompanies wedding invitions and the like.

It is also used in the little lanterns people make and set along their sidewalk to the house like halloween or such...as a brown paper bag with shapes cut out in the sides and this vellum is taped inside to give a pretty glow once sand and a candle is set inside the lanterns, etc...

Debbie-

You are talking about luminaries. I have made them, although I use colored tissue paper to represent autumn leaves.

So vellum and pergamano are the same thing?

Maybe it is a brand name thingy I don't know for sure but they seem to be the same thing...my brain is foggy so it wouldn't let me spell the word...luminaries. i have noticed after all my surgeries my recall with words is horrible anymore.
