Hi, all,

In response to a few requests, I am posting a link to a photobucket slideshow of some of my quilts.

This is really only a sampling. I have made a lot of my quilts of which I have just never taken pictures. Some of them I even gave away. I know ... I should have taken pictures. I am also not good about putting labels on the backs of my quilts. My friends keep telling me I need to make a practice of this.

I do not have a good digital camera, so the quality of the photos here are not particularly good at showing the details and fabrics.

So here is my album. I will try to add more pictures soon. I hope you all enjoy:

Thanks for looking at my quilts, Smile Pat

HOW WONDERFUL PAT! Confetti I so enjoyed seeing these, but can you slow the slide show down justttt a little?...lol I was just settling into a good "ooooohhh....ahhhhh"...and it would flip to the next quilt! I really like studying people's color choices. It really helps me! Oh...BTW? Your little kitty model is a cutie too!

Again, thanks for taking the time to do this! I wish EVERY ONE would post their quilt photos!

Off for now... poof*

Nice work, Pat!! Wow, I love them all! Felicia, you could just click on the thumbnails in the top right corner - that way you can take all the time you want.

Hopefully this summer, I'll have a chance to sit and learn PhotoBucket so I can share the few I've made - I have dozens of blocks that still need to be put into tops.

I am going to have to take a second look! I was so mesmerized by the presentation and the way the photographs advanced that I forgot to look at the quilts! LOL

Gerda, I think Pat needs to run a seminar for people like you and me. That was way cool, but waaaaaaaay over my head!

Thank you all for the kind comments. Smile

I tried to "slowdown" the slide show, but unfortunately this feature is not available. I could switch to a different format. This one was called "shuffle" I think. If you click on a particular quilt while it is in the middle of the screen, it will stop the slide show on that quilt for as long as you like. To resume the slideshow, you have to "x" it off. then it will just go back to the moving slide show. I picked this format because it reminded me a bit of hanging quilts in a quilt show.

I know nothing really about photobucket. I just opened this account about two weeks ago and followed the little clicks to create a slideshow and moved just the quilts over to the show. It is not very difficult or, believe me, I could not have figured it out. I just followed the easy directions. I am not a very techinical person.

When my kids get home from the dorms with their digital cameras I am going to try to take better pictures of these and more of my quilts and make a new, improved presentation.

I am enjoying learning some of this internet stuff and I also made a basic blog (which only has two entries so far)that Kim posted as an alternative to Serial Quilters, which is still down. It is called "My Quilt Blog." Here is my blog on this site, should you be interested:

http://www.myquiltblog.com/Scrapatches/

I will be making more entries here soon.

For now I think I will go work on my quilt. Hopefully, I will have a new quilt picture to post soon ... <3 Pat

Hello,

I am having fun here sharing my quilts. Thanks for the positive feedback. As a new quilter, it is much appreciated.

I added a couple of photos.

Here is a close-up of the "Kitty in the Pumpkin Patch" Quilt:

http://s297.photobucket.com/albums/mm214/scrapatches_ph...tchWallhangingQu.jpg
This is a small two-sided "banner" type quilt.

Here is the reverse side:
http://s297.photobucket.com/albums/mm214/scrapatches_ph...WallHangingQuilt.jpg

The "kitty" applique in the middle of the pumpkin patch represents my daughter's cat, Butterfly, who does love posing with (and sleeping on) my quilts.

I think I love working with fall colors the most. Fall is actually my favorite season and here in New England, the colors are glorious.

Here is my other cat, Mina the Quilt Kitty:
http://s297.photobucket.com/albums/mm214/scrapatches_ph...atheQuiltKitty-1.jpg
As usual, she is "helping" me quilt here. Mina is never far from my sewing. She sleeps in a basket or on a fluffy pile of batting in my sewing corner and gets petted thorughout the day there. We adopted Mina when she was literally in a carrier on the way to be put to sleep when her family was moving to a place where they could not take her. Poor kitty, but she is a happy cat now on all my quilts.

Thanks for looking at my quilts, Smile Pat
