Yes...you should take MANY photos of your quilts! I am going to start an album. I have them all on disk, or in a file on my computer but as we ALL KNOW...computers can croak...and then you lose much. I have a huge file on my system of just color combinations I like! I nab photos from every source imaginable just for block placement Ideas.

Didn't do the summer hop and, now with gas prices soaring, not sure if I'll do the fall one, either. Oh well, I need more storage space anyway! Guess I'll have to use the time for sewing and make some more room.

I am still thinking that I will do the July Shop Hop right now. My DH does not mind the driving and we turn it into an outing of sorts and go to dinner.

I could never have done this when my kids were growing, though ... I did not even have time and money to quilt at all then. When they were young we did things like take them camping and whatever their passions were at the time ... scouts ... soccer .... band ... rowing ... so, then, were ours. I enjoyed every minute of it and miss those days sometimes. Where did the time go?

I have some time to sew and to pursue fabric now ...
