Great quilt! I have never attempted attic windows. Is it hard?

Thank you ladies and let me report that I received a phone call from her and she was all excited that she had finalyy gotten her a quilt, and to tell me that their cat (Snickers) wanted to lay on it, but she said that she was not going to let him today maybe tomorrow. Debbie no it is such like the easiest quick quilt that you can make ant it takes little fabric think I had 2 yds of each and did not use anymore than one, the borders took up the most part, you just cut the size block that you would like (I used 7 1/2 and then the saching was 2 1/2 for the bottom and then the 1/2 sq triangle was 2 7/8 ( I believe) and then sewed the dark and the light to make the triangle, added it to the side making sure that the right color went in the right direction and there you are an attic window, if you want to make one of these you can google it for attic window and you will come up with some more information, I am sorry to say that however it was just completed all the breakdown is a little bit sketchy. Frown Frown One last thing used the train method to sew the bottoms per row and it went really quickly. Thanks again ladies for the compliments!!!!

Yes, Michelle, it's a wonderful quilt - I thought you did the Attic Windows with mitred corners, which are a bit trickier to do. You did a super job - it is a great way to showcase fabulous fabric that would lose its oomph when cut into small pieces. I have seen quilts with animals and landscapes, and they are awesome!!

Michelle, you have a very lucky granddaughter to have a grammy like you! Way to go!!
