I doubt it, Jacqui - there is another magazine often called AP&Q but it' Australian Patchwork and Quilting! Patchwork and Quilting I've seen too, I think - different stores (usually grocery stores!!) seem to have most of the ones out there, but you need to go to them all to see them - WalMart and The Real Canadian Superstore carry many - the LQS that was just sold, only carried the Australian ones! One LQS in Edmonton, carries a couple others, but most quilt shops carry books, not mags. Very tempting, but at an average of $7.50 each, it gets to be much too costly. Nice eye candy, though!! Gerda

I love the Sunstreaks fabric and would like to make the quilt, but when I click on the link I cannot get yardage requirements and cutting requirements. Also, I cannot find quilt shops in my area or on line who carry the Sunstreak Fabrics. I think the new Planet Patchwork BOM stars would look wonderful in the Sunstreaks fabrics, also.

Linda O, The Quilt Asylum in McKinney carries The Sunstreaks Fabrics. I purchased some there not too long ago. You can find it on their website also. www.thequiltasylum.com They had all of the colors. If you can't find it, ask the gals in the shop about it; they should know what you're talking about. Wasie

Linda O Debo wrote the following on Mar 23: [I used up 2 yards {72inches} (black) then I had to order more. I liked an 8" strip having enough to do the last of the 2 borders. Then I will need strips for the binding too. If one cuts the length of a "2 yard" of fabric that will give more than enough to do one strip of binding down one side. The color strips takes very very little fabric. I have been wondering if one was careful in cutting each color strip that a FQ would be more than enough. Really the only one with much color is the light green. I cut the long lengths of colors first {2 x 9-1/2"}, {2 x 7-1/2"}, etc then down the list it saved wasting fabric.] I just knew I remembered this! Hope it gets you started. Wasie
