This block was a challenge from one of the girls at the quilting group I host on Tuesdays. I can tell you it has lots and lots of pieces. The block pattern comes from silverliningsoriginals.com. It's really a great design. It was hard. I am pretty much new to paper piecing. It will probably be the only one I will make. It took me 2 days.

If you sign up for her newsletter you will get some free patterns. I think it's done monthly. It's a nice site.

Your work is beautiful. I love the teddybear. Was that hard to make?

That is beautiful - I'm afraid I'm not that keen on foundation piecing, I find it very wasteful. Have you tried any other flowers?

Milica I have done a tulip and iris block but they were easy one's. Like beginner. This one was hard...real hard for me. I might try a few more. I think it would make a stunning quilt done in black and maybe some green ivy between and under the blocks. Frame them in like.

Thanks everyone. It was a fun project.
