Well...I realized that if I put my mind and soul to finishing something, I COULD! I told myself that I wanted to finish this top yesterday so I sewed like there was no tomorrow. I'm happy with the result, as much grief as it originally gave me. I don't even think I'll square it now that it looks okay on the bed. DS is excited so I guess that's all that matters!

Thank you ladies! Miki, the tulip quilt is a landscape quilt. If you thought it was painted, then it did its job. The tulips are appliqued.
