this is the quilt similar to Woodland wonders that I just finished for our son in law, Barry

I called it "Nature's Solitude", he loves to hunt and be in the outdoors. I used leftovers from Woodland Wonders, but needed to buy two more center panels.

machine quilted on my Juki, stitch in the ditch and freemotion stippling.

Delivered it to him yesterday, Yippee!

Denise ... another nice one! Clap Clap Clap

I like the pinwheels with this print and the way you do not connect all the borders. They really stand out this way. Smile

Your SIL looks so happy with his quilt! Big Grin

Pat, the breaks in the pinwheels was my way of dealing with uneven divisions, and not being able to easily have the pinwheels work out evenly with the amount of border fabric I had left. Snail

Michelle, the pinwheels are all scrappy pieced 4" finished blocks. the center panels are by south sea imports designed by Anita Phillips. The entire series is in both cotton and flannel. I used the cotton.

Barry was very suprised, he didn't know I was making a quilt for him.
