Kerstin!
Thanks! You gave me a wonderful idea! I captured your quilt photo from your slide show and got it printed off in color. Now...that it's not moving I can see how it was made! LOVE IT MORE! So simple and fun. Your color choices were awesome too. I'm still enough of a newbie that picking the right colors can stress me out. I'm getting better tho'.

Back to work! Bye bye... Sporty *waving*

Looks great! I would go with dark quilting thread too. Can't wait to see the finished project!

Thanks again..lol However... I love making quilt TOPS a lot more then finishing them...lol I do finish them, but not with the gusto of making the tops..hehe I have to go somewhere to get them ready to finish because my sewing room is small and I have no where to lay them out and get them pinned etc.

Felicia, a lady after my own heart. I also love making the tops. That is probably why I have many that need quilting. I don't have an excuse though, because my sewing room is large enough. I just like to always try something new... instead of working on the old ones. I have to get over this though, because it is getting out of control. LOL

Vicky...LOL @ us! I just need to make a RULE for me that at 4 tops...I have to stop and finish them! I have found a local machine quilter who is beyond reasonable! She DOES FANTASTIC WORK TOO! I'm just shocked that she's one of the cheaper long arm ladies in the area yet her work is displayed on alll the upper end quilts at the local shows. I feel like I found a DIAMOND!!

Posted the two new blankets over to page #1.

The horse quilt, and a new baby blankie for May

Peek back to page one.

I wonder if I should just put them in the new post, but then people have to jump around to see them. I think I like keeping them posted all on ONE page...lol

Anyhow... page #1 has two new photos.

I just posted my June baby blanket on page #1. The July blanket will be posted soon. I'm putting a "Disappearing 9 Patch" in the center with a stars and stripes theme. Should be fun!
