I just wanted to say that the "Thank You" quilt is even nicer in person than it is on the page. The colors just sparkle and i know i am going to love-a love-a love-a it!
THANK YOU! My dear DB, i really like the surprise!

VERY PRETTY wall hanging Felicia! Your fabric choices are wonderful. I've saved the picture to put on my computer for ideas... I need to get my Christmas lap quilt done but it may not make it this year. Still working on my sisters and my daughters quilts. Guess I better turn up the speed!
you should be very proud, Felicia! I'm sure that your MIL will be thrilled! the icicles are a just the right touch. LOL I can just imagine myself tryin to stitch those tiny beeds. 300 mags. might not be strong enough....
This wallhanging is just beautiful. Carl's mom will be thrilled with her new Christmas tree. I do not think I would ever have the patience to do that kind of beading.
Dori's wallhanging came out so cute, too. You are a lucky girlfriend, there, Dori!
Felicia ... I think you are "coming into your own" here with your quilting ... you have certainly developed your own style and ways. Your work is getting so personalized and unique.
Thanks for sharing!
Pat

Wellllllllllll ya know how it goes.. .....lol I had no sooner declared my Christmas tree wall hanging DONE...and then I saw things I wanted to change...lol Soooooooo..... I found a larger bling-button yesterday that set the tree top off MUCH better then the smaller buttons I set in the other Poinsettias. I’ve updated some photos...and in the process FINALLY got the actual colors of the quilt captured. The one photo is not that crisp...but you get the drift!
It's been hard for me to step out of my color box, but I'm getting there..hehe I used to do a lot of beading back in the mid 70's so my goal is to get alllll my years of crafting to finally come together on my quilts...lol We shall see...

I made two quilts in Dec, but one needs some sprucing up before it's posted. I made this quilt from the scraps from Ned's quilt. It's not identical to Ned's, but very similar. This is a true lap warmer, but I wish I would have added one more border. As you can see...I'm still completely fascinated with that silly Disappearing Nine Patch block

Felicia - nice work. Doesn't it feel good to make those bonus quits out of fabric left from another quilt? I have one sitting on the "to do" shelf, that is leftovers from the butterfly trio. I stitched the 4 patch pieces together, as I sorted them while sewing the top for the 3rd quilt, not sure how i'm going to set them yet, but i still have more of the fabrics.
What are you going to do to the other quilt? We want pictures before you wrap it up!
