Lovely blocks, Tata. I've been busy with a Baltimore type quilt in autumn colours - have the last half of the final border to do then I'll take a photo - I'm rather pleased with the result

Jacqui and Milica and I have been chatting on Skype. And I have discovered that I have been saying Milica's name wrong all this time. For all of you inquiring minds, it is Melitza! Isn't that pretty? Well now I can hardly spell it because I'm trying so hard to say it right after all this time. Any way when your name was mentioned Tata, I pronounced it as rhyming with play. But when they did, it was rhyming with ball. Like they would say ta ta instead of goodbye over there. So you have to put an end our curiosity!
Hmmmm...this thread has opened up a discussion on a southern meet here....calling all Dixie lassies!!!! Yooo-hooooo!! Do you think we can all get together somehow? Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia and the Carolinas (I know JeanD is in Wilmington, NC), huh, huh, huh?????
Tata (as in ta-ta for now!)
BTW for the curious among you, Tata was how DD called herself as a toddler...could not pronounce her name Katherine when she first started to talk. She does not go by it now that she's 13, but it always stuck with my mom...so Tata it was for a lot of things!
