these are pictures of the Woodland wonders quilt I finished in December for one of my husbands dear friends, Steve. He loves the outdoors, and when I saw this fabric while on vacation last year, it started screaming at me! approx twin size

I utilized three pieces of the grouping from south sea imports, the panel, green background fabric, and the border stripe for animals and canoes.... and an extra border strip for the Native American looking one. leaves and 4 patches were scrapppy from my stash, (plus a fq or two). I designed on my design wall as I went, which was a new experience for me....

I have enough of some of the fabrics left over, that I'm working on a slightly different version for my son in law. Just needed to pick up two more panels

Hi, Denise! Beautiful quilt! Clap Clap Clap

Thanks for posting pictures! I love these fabrics and the setting you chose. Very masculine. Lucky guy!

This is the type of thing I like to do with panels, too ... add lots of nice scrappy borders to make then my own ... Smile

Very nice, Denise. I love the way it all comes together with the panels and your additional touches. My nephews would love something like that. I may have to think about something similar next year for Christmas.

Wow, beautiful quilt. I really like the leaf blocks, the colors really pop and accent the colors in the quilt. Great work!

Deb, those leaf blocks were only 3" finished. Thought I would never get them all done and trimmed. much worth the effort, though. thanks
