Anyone in the area going to this one? Hosted by Bear Creek Quilt Guild in Keller. I've been to a show of theirs in the past and enjoyed it.

Anyone else going? I'm heading there Saturday. $6 admission/day.

Brenda Manges Papadakis, author of DEAR JANE will be there.

Wished I could have family up there however they are not quilters! I try to let them know that this might be a good way to begin if they go and see all the artist hard work.

well, if I were you I'd wait and come up to the Dallas show.

I went today. It was ok, not nearly as much as I've seen in past shows. I love Dear Jane, but I'm getting tired of seeing so many of it. There were at least 8-10 of them, and there were only about 100 quilts total. BOS was one, and every one of them placed, so I guess if you weren't doing Dear Jane you didn't stand much chance of winning.

I didn't see any quilts that just jumped out at me and left me stunned. I usually find at least 2 or 3 but not this time. I did take pictures of some pretty ones. I'll get those uploaded maybe tomorrow for everyone to see.

We were in and out in about 2 1/2 hours. A record time for me at a show.
