Jody, is your last stitch a complete stitch, so it looks like the end of the row is "joined 3s"? Know what I mean, does it look like the whole row you've done? If so, just put your needle in from the back where the elbow of your last stitch is, then make your next stitch. I'll see if I can find some diagrams to help.

Jody, when a lady showed me how to do the blanket stitch, she went back 2 stitches, and just started like new, and just 'over-stitched' the 2 previous stitches...I've used this method several times and it's works/looks fine. Might give it a try.. Jean
