I thought when I sent the Orvus Paste to you, I included the directions for use...oh well, here they are for you.
Use 1 teaspoon paste if your water is soft...a little more if your water is hard. Dissolve the paste soap in a cup of hot water. I will usually add cold water to that after the paste is dissolved to just cool it back down. Just pour it into your soap cup on the front load machine like you normally would. I will sometimes run the quilt through a second rinse cycle to make sure that all the soap is out.

Yes Jami you did include instructions, thank you. However, the dispenser of my front loader takes less than a cup of water. So I started the cycle without the quilt in the drum, just so I would have water in it somewhere, opened the door and poured the Orvus solution in it, then put the quilt in. It worked!

Okay ladies, here's the story of the 4-year quilt. I've tried to register on the blog but the moderator hasn't responded and I can't wait any longer so I put it on my Facebook notes. Hopefully it opens up for you as many of you have been mentioned in it as well. I guess yo have to have a FB account to see it though. Hope you like how the quilt turned out.
Ladies, if you don't have a facebook account, it would be worth your time to get one, just to read Tata's story of the quilt. It's really a great story! And the pictures are great too!
Sorry, Meg!!! Facebook is a social networking site - www.Facebook.com. It's free and while a few people have complained about viruses and such, I've been a member for well over a year and haven't had any problems. Once you sign on, you'll be able to search for your friends, post requests asking them to be your Facebook friends, then you can read their posts. There are a lot of silly quizes and games that some of us are rather adicted to (for me, it's Farmville & Farm Town). There's even some quilting games.
oh tata!!!! oh my oh my oh my!! your quilt is BEAUTIFUL!! welldone, my friend, well done! and nola's quilting was the perfect finish! your scalloped binding looks perfect to me. i do hope you enter your diamond ring in a quilt show! it would surely take first prize!

The quilt is stunning, Tata (and Nola)! And its story is so well told, too. An inspiration, and I'll add my encouragement to enter it in one or more shows!
