Went to a demo today at my local quilt shop cuz she had a guy who sells them come in and show his machine...Tiz Lizzy 18. Of course I THINK I want one but not for a while. Need to get a sewing room back in my life BUT what do I need to look for so I make a wise decision? $6000 is a lot to invest and want to be smart about it. I did try it out and was soo much fun. Had the feature where if you stop moving the "head" it stopped sewing so you don't do the stomp. Looking forward to guidance from you guys who already have one or are savy about this machine.

If you don't work on it, you'll never finish it!

Wasie and I looked at several different models of long arm machines at the Dallas Quilt Show a couple weekends ago. They are nice, and move very smoothly, but like yourself, I have no room for one - even in my quilting room. Maybe SOME day!
