Did you all notice the new addition to the home page? Kim, what a brilliant idea to include one here! Thank you very much. I am sure it will be a great benefit to our many new quilters, who are just learning how to calculate yardage, and to some of us old timers, who are starting to experience "brain freezes" now and again. LOL

I just about bought one of these at the LQS and just couldn't turn loose of 30.00 for one! Does anyone know if there is a site that will tell ya how much fabric you need for borders? I normally just buy extra fabric but I thought there was a site you could put in how wide you wanted each one to be and it'd calculate the yardage for ya. Kim, Is there a calculator for this??? When I was playing with the calculator at the quilt store it had you put in your width x length of quilt and how wide the binding strip was and it gave you the amount you needed for that quilt. I Just couldn't see paying a high price for it. Sure hope you can figure something out. I really appreciate your efforts!! THE other 3 you have up are just wonderful!! Thanks!!!
