I got mine from a shop in Decatur called First Response. But I'm sure you can find them on-line. Try Gander Mountain or Cabelas. Maybe Doreen can tell you where she ordered hers. Or google "Yak Trax" and see what comes up.

Deb, I'm glad to have been of help. I highly recommend the Yak Trax for anyone who has to walk on ice. They're easy to put on and take off, and while I'm still a bit cautious when walking, I don't slip a bit. If I didn't have them, our livestock would be hungry because I couldn't begin to walk to the barn and chicken houses without them. I could deal with a broken leg or arm, but just the thought of a broken hip or back just makes me shudder!

Thanks for the info, Nola. I have a Gander Mountain nearby, and Cabela's is a Michigan store! Maybe an hour's drive- plus there's a really cool quilt shop right there in Tecunseh, as well! Hey, I could kill two birds with one stone! Now, to convince Steve that's it's time to go "hunting"! hehehehe (she chortles diabolically whilst rubbing her hands together in glee!)

Hope you all got your Yaktrax before the ice storms hit. They (storms) looked really bad on the news. Thanks Nola. I made that quilt in one evening. As a baby really needed it I thought. Was going back to England 3 days because of illness. Would you know my washing machine decided not to spin when I went to wash it to finish off. But did get it done in time.
Cheers
Ruth
