Wow - that's definitely going on my list for my visit in 2009! I use it for embroidery so it could be used for both - whoopee!

At JAs I buy CLOVER WHITE MARKING PENS when I need to draw "stuff" on dark fabric. It's expensive...about 5.00 so I buy them when notions are half price. Markings iron out and/or wash out.

Different than the blue marking pens. You have to be carefull with heat when using those.

Just a great tool. Always hanging by the quilty stuff. I just love them.

I have been reading this thread with great interest, following the Q&A's, some of which I would not know even to ask, but I believe they have this stuff at one of the two nearby Joanne Fabrics. I am definately going to give this a try. I only visit Joanne when I am armed with her coupons, though.

Pat, You probably already know this about Joanne's but I just learned that if you have one coupon for 50% off and another coupon (whether it came from the internet or another flyer) you can use that on the same transaction for another item. It allows you to use one coupon for each item if you let's say had 2 items to purchase~ I didn't know this, until I went to checkout one time and the clerk, said do I see another coupon in your hand, and I said Yes, but I had 2 and one was for 50% off, so I'd rather use it than this 40% off. She said use both. Just use one for each item is the rule so I finished checking out and whah-hooed all the way to the car!!!!

AND....JAs will take competitiors (sp) coupons too...Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc

JAs has fliers at the checkout good for 3/2-8 on lots of stuff. Every coupon is 40% off and notions is one of the categories! Craft item coupon may work too.
