Connie, Have you or any of these other ladies heard of the curved master? If I am remembering right, it is a specific foot for curves but just can't seem to put my finger on it right at the moment. Curves are scary to me, and I tend to shy away from them for that reason.

Betty, We are so bad for you! LOL!

Oknana I have not heard of this foot but would be very interested to hear about it. I hope you won't let your fear of curves keep you from trying this pattern. The fear of curves was the original reason this pattern was designed and it is much easier than the traditional pieced curve patterns.

I have a Curve Master foot, but haven't used it yet. I made a few Drunkard's Path blocks last year, but did it the usual way. I have seen it demonstrated on QNN last year a few times, and it seems to work really well. Apparently it can also be used for straight seams!

And here's a review: http://www.quiltersreview.com/article.asp?article=/review/product/030310_a.asp

Guess what! I cut out my first making waves block this am, and like a goof, forgot to put one fabric right side up! so this block will be my humility block (won't be the last either!! Smile

Well, better go and get back to painting - finally got all those tiny panes of glass taped off - man, that takes long!!!

Later, girls!!

So we have some humility blocks that match Gerda. LOL!! Don't get too tired with that paint brush in your hand. Are you going to try to come to the Trivia game tonight?

Milica bought one at a quilt show a while back, don't think she had used it before she went to France.
