Jacqui, thanks for adding the post for me! Yesterday got a bit out of control and I didn't get to make the post as I thought. I was waiting to hear from Kim about where to put it because I saw that housecleaning was being done and I didn't want to post in the wrong place. This will be a perfect spot for me to let you know once in awhile what's new. Of course, you can always check my website or blog if I get overwhelmed.
I'm glad you like the banners, Jacqui. I'm hoping by the time I get them done my daughter and son-in-law will want to have another I've been having a blast with the baby! Hard to believe her first birthday is coming up. She's a riot. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya Meg!
Thanks, Jenn The Mixmasters will be a group of blenders and basics that I'm doing for Robert Kaufman Fabrics. The one I posted on the site is called "Satinesque". I wanted something that looked like scrunched up satin and would give a look of dimension to a quilt. It's a natural progression from the marbles I designed for Moda years ago and the Marble Mania and Sunstreaks for Timeless Treasures. They'll be introduced along with my yarn-dyed "Kona Colorworks" at Spring Quilt Market in Portland. You can check my blog for info: http://www.patricklose.blogspot.com.
There's so much going on right now that I'm sure I'll forget to tell you all something. But I wanted to be sure to let the forum know as soon as I could release the news. That reminds me, I also have a new book for C&T coming out in June: http://patricklose.net/online/plcinfo.html
Thanks for letting me share with you. I love having your feedback on what I am working on. You can always check the blog or website for news in case I forget stuff!
I hope all is well here. I'm going to do some more catching up
At the rate they are going, I will have to settle for my grandvermin! My DDIL is studying vet medicine. She does rat rescue; need I say more??????? LOL
Hi, Patrick, I love your fabric lines... particularly the "satinesque" ... looks like you could just sink your fingers into it and it would rustle. It would be perfect for a project I have in my head. Is this available now in stores?
Enjoy that little one ... they grow so fast at that age ... Pat

good to hear from you patrick! will have to sneak a peek at your "newly updated" website later tho! keep up the good work! i am in the midst of trying to get moved to the atlanta area and one of my first tasks there is to find a LQS (never had one of those before!!) and then find sunstreaks! i know i can find them online, but i want to support a LQS if possible and i figure SOMEONE in atlanta will carry your lines!!!!
hey meg, i am sure wren will let you make a quilt for her too! ROFLOL but yeah, that oldest son of yours needs to listen to your plea for grandchildren!!!

hey pat, isn't it neat how "alive" patrick's fabrics seem to be? i bet that quality just radiates from the fabrics when you actually get to see them "up front and in your face"

You are right, Cindy, "alive" is a good word to describe these fabrics.
I did a search for "sunstreaks" and found that a quilt shop not far from me has quite a few of these colors ... yay! ... and I had almost visited this shop on Saturday and instead went to one not far away. Her shop is so small and overflowing, I sometimes have trouble seeing everything in the jumble of colors. Fortunately, her shop is doing well and she is planning to expand into the space next to them. Maybe she will carry the "satinesque" line too!!!!
Hope your move goes smoothly, Cindy ... Pat
