Hi Ladies - First a big thanks to Deb for coming up with this idea of doing miniature blocks as a group! It's something I've wanted to tackle for some time, but just never got around to... I'd love to join in on the fun! Smile

I'll be happy to go with the majority on the rules Deb, but my preference is to go at my own pace and choose my own blocks to do each month. Like Michelle, I'm going to do the SS blocks instead of the Jane or Hannah blocks -- they're so pretty and best of all, free! Smile

I'm really looking forward to seeing everyones progress and share in the trials and joys of making these small blocks along the way. And I know for me, just coming here to share these things with all of you will keep me motivated!

Welcome to the small world of blocks! We are going to have fun making these blocks and it's good to have you here.

I have made out some "GENERAL" guidelines for those like me who doesn't have a plan of action that can be followed. I did set it as a challenge otherwise I would eventually fall away doing other things and this will kep me focused and those of you who need this to keep you going.

NONE OF IT IS SET IN STONE, above all have FUN!

Happy Quilting!

I have always been interested in people who make me laugh!!! You can never have a dull moment with these people. And if you happen to have "one of those moments" then it's okay, they just laugh with you.

You can go ahead and make your album there isn't anything special about them...only thing I added to the guideline list was think about posting the website or book title where you get your patterns giving the owners credit.

My album is made if you want to take a look at it...I have my watermelon patch picture posted there, had to much going on to work on any of my blocks.

Isn't there also blocks called nickel blocks? are they 5" blocks or something like that? Seems like I remember talk of nickel blocks when I came to BC.

I did print the first block (the paper-pieced Ohio Star), so I plan on getting that one done tomorrow. Can't wait to see the blocks you've done so far...

Michelle-
Do I need to change the settings on my printer/page set up? Seems like my midget blocks are coming out on the small side. Yes, well, even smaller than they are supposed to.
