Deb, you are so sweet! Thank you to YOU for coming up with the idea, writing the guidelines, and serving as the MOM of this whole project! I'm so pumped to finally (after 2+ years of buying the book) get started on my Jane quilt! Thanks to you and this group, I'm finding the motivation I need!
Milica, thank you for the compliment! I am absolutely in love with batiks and it finally hit me that I should make this quilt in fabrics I love.

WTG!!! Kim, I do like that block as posted in the comment section there, I now wish that maybe I would have searched some more however like you I was so happy to have a jump start on the SS that I ran with the white background it is okay so will keep going with that! Thanks, both you ladies for the hard work that you have put forth.
YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I finally have one block made it is the A-1 Pinwheel Gone Awry...I will get a picture of it posted later this morning!
I now have a much greater appreciation for all those blocks you ladies have already posted! I had to rework a place or two! BUT I am happy with it as it is my first one.
Happy Quilting! Bama Deb ~ Sweet Home AL I have always been interested in people who make me laugh!!! You can never have a dull moment with these people. And if you happen to have "one of those moments" then it's okay, they just laugh with you.
Here is the pic of my A-1 Pinewheel Gone Awry! {{{I have to post it here until I can reset some setting in my camera, it makes the pis to large then when I shrink them they are way to small for posting in the album plus my disk is full so need to fix that too!}}}

Jenell Yes it sure is! Name approperiate too! Thanks to you that I even saw this collection, I fell in love with the pastel colors when I seen them on your blog! They are so pretty in person too!
Milica & Suzanne Thank you for the nice words and yes the designers did good on this line of fabrics.
I finally realized late y'day that I had some "Kona White" in my stash that I could use for the background fabric and this is the first time I have ever worked with it and I am liking it so far. I ordered several yards back last year to use for a quilt, that hasn't gotten started yet so...yep, I took it!
