I sure hope they have some good news for you on the 5th! Do they let you have pain meds or would you take them? I sure hope this doesn't mean more surgeries for you to correct the problem.

In the commercial breaks here they are now advertising a new kind of joint that looks more promising that any of the older techniques, one that I wouldn't be afraid to try anyway. It has 2 parts that attach to the upper and lower bone and a lot less recovery time for the patient, I can't remember what it is called.

Happy Quilting!

I have always been interested in people who make me laugh!!! You can never have a dull moment with these people. And if you happen to have "one of those moments" then it's okay, they just laugh with you.

They gave me pain meds and anti-inflamatory meds at the hospital so taking those as and when necessary. I know that I will need more surgery, certainly a partial knee replacement so will end up on a waiting list I'm sure for that, anyway would prefer to have the op after March cos being selfish I want to go to Tomball on two feet and not crutches!!

Thank you for asking.

Milica--Will put you in my prayers for a speedy recovery! and less pain till then! I think you need to put your feet up and sew! No housework for you, girl! That way, you can heal up fast.

Michelle--I have always wanted to drive down to Houston for the show. Maybe in a couple years after I get both girls off to college I can take a couple days off and do it.

I wanted to let you all know about a DJ quilt in red-white-blue made for Pres Bush & wife. Here is a link to an album with photos.

I found it on the Dear Jane website. It's awesome.

Thanks for the site Wasie! I love seeing how many different color-ways quilters use to make the Jane Stickle quilt. Smile
