Meg, you're not alone! I still can't do it either! I have prevailed upon these sweet ladies to post the odd pic for me. THANK YOU, LADIES, YOU ARE THE BEST!! Cindy, Debbie, Connie, Betty - I don't think I've asked Debo yet - but I might!
I intend to learn this over the winter when not working on the house anymore - lots of time before yard work can begin - the frost doesn't leave the ground here before May!
And the throwing of FQs is retorical, though I will not duck should any be thrown! fat eighths and charm squares are welcome too.
No, seriously, ladies, just FQs will do. HA!!!

Wow had not checked this for a few days and have the topic picked up, I think that I would like to do the midget blocks however was wondering how large are the JS blocks? Some of the midget blocks are a little bit difficult at least in the looking at some but that is what makes it a challenge to broaden yourself out side the box, and seeing my name o n the first page is great, I just don't want to start and stop but on the pafe of the migdet blocks one of hte quilters stated that she did like 10 weeks (blocks) and decided to take a break to work on something else so that is always an option, so what will be our next step: Those who are doing the JS and if anyone beside me will be with the midget blocks.
Michelle, hi!! The dear Jane blocks are 4 1/2" finished, the midget blocks from Sentimental Stitches are 4 1/2" finished, and the Sylvia's bridal sampler blocks, which some of the ladies were doing (actually, Debo is still working on them - lovely!!), are 6" finished.
So the JS and SS midgets can be interchanged. No idea yet on number of blocks/week/month or deadlines or what. Deb is doing a wonderful job putting this together, but she would like opinions, right, Deb? I'll do my best to keep up. Still thinking on scrappy or not, but will definitely be doing one fabric for background.

The Midget blocks are 4 1/2" finished and The Jane Stickle blocks are 4 1/2" finished.
You will need a book or cd for the JS blocks, I have not found any site online for those myslef. Maybe someone has found otherwise?
Happy Quilting! Bama Deb ~ Sweet Home AL I have always been interested in people who make me laugh!!! You can never have a dull moment with these people. And if you happen to have "one of those moments" then it's okay, they just laugh with you.
i have the patterns for the midget blocks, but just realized that something about the printer settings made mine print slightly smaller than 4.5". I need to get that re-set as soon as I figure out how and re-print those blocks. I am so bummed!
Yup I just ran got my book and measured LOL Ok I corrected my error but not before measuring the block.
Thanks Gerda
