I thought y'all might be interested in this. Here is a link to Bonnie's Quiltville Dear Jane post. http://www.quiltville.com/dearjane.shtml She finished a marvelous Dear Jane quilt and writes about doing it. She also has photos and links to some other sites. So you can see some other versions of the quilt.
Wow!! that is a beauty there Wasie, thanks for sharing the page. I am planning to get going today when I get a background fabric wanted to do it in cream or close to white as possible not really a white background person but looking at that one with the majority of the blocks background that color hum not too sure what to choose, anyway I enjoyed the reading. BTW Deb I would say 4 a month or more if possibel I see that the SS most of the blocks are PP'ed my favorite!!!
This is me doing the happy dance! Can you see how stiff my legs are, too much arthritis- no moon walking for me! LOL Was teasing DS1 yesterday about an unused DJ book on eBay. Told him that was what I wanted for Christmas. Before I went to bed last night, I found an e-mail from him. He apologized for not remembering my birthday (the first big boating weekend of the season, he was so busy with safety boardings) and said the book was in the mail! He finds the most unexpected ways to bring me to tears, bless him.
This is me doing the happy dance. Yep, still arthritic! LOL While I was teasing DS1 on the phone, among other things, he was helping me figure out how to re-set the print settings so I can re-print the midget blocks from SS and have them be true to size.
This much happiness is gonna lead to serious things! I can just feel it! LOL
Michelle Thank you for that info on how many blocks we want to try and make. Hopefully others will let me hear from them too on the subject?
Meg Congrats on the book-you have good #1S...said in my best Chinese voice! LOL NOT!!!
I have put togeter some guidelines but I need to know how many a month and...
I need to know is how you want to go about chosing these blocks...
1} take turns chosing a block/s each month to post,
2} me to pick and chose the block or blocks

I am so not good at following directions that I am going to remain silent in this discussion. It's not that I am adverse to following directions, but rather, in true Gemini form, I get sidetracked too easily. You ladies figure this out, and I will follow as closely as I can.
OH Meg I am a Gemini too! Not that anyone can tell, I probably have the most WIPs of anyone, not boasting but I like having a variety of things to work on.
I appreciate your thoughts so thank you.

I'm a Pisces, and boy, the water bit is there! I cry easily - don't bloat though!
I think I could do 4, especially if I have all my ducks in a row as far as fabrics go. How about we start at the beginning of the book? Or you picking and choosing is fine with me, too. Or each choosing (like with BPSII) - that way, some might throw in some SS blocks. There, how's that for a decision?? NOT!! Majority rules!!
